Busch Gardens is a 335 acre entertainment park on the outskirts of Tampa. The first decision you have to make is when to go and the answer to that is easy. The spring months of March and April or the fall months of September and October. At these times there will fewer visitors, the queues will be much shorter and the weather is comfortable which makes walking around this sizeable park much more enjoyable. The summer peak periods involve spending hours of your valuable time in queues all the while under a baking Florida sun so if avoid that period if you can.

Busch Gardens has many different attractions, shows, restaurants, gift shops, and games that are certain to entertain the whole family. The park is divided into distinct areas, most with a tropical African flavor where thrill rides are combined with other activities such as water parks, indoor theatres, bird gardens, a Sesame Street play area for toddlers and interactive exhibits.

Buying your tickets online prior to arrival is a good idea. There are lots of websites that offer discounted tickets and it is usually possible to buy combo tickets for both Busch Gardens and Sea World. You can obviously buy tickets at the admission gate but booking online eliminates the need to stand in a queue when you arrive. Just make sure you have some cash on hand to pay for parking!

You can come to Busch Gardens just for the day or you can create a full week of entertainment for the whole family.
