The first decision you have to make is when to go and the answer to that is easy. The spring months of March and April or the fall months of September and October. At these times there will fewer visitors, the queues will be much shorter and the weather is comfortable which makes walking around this sizeable park much more enjoyable. The summer peak periods involve spending hours of your valuable time in queues all the while under a baking Florida sun so if avoid that period if you can. Busch Gardens has many different attractions, shows, restaurants, gift shops, and games that are certain to entertain the whole family. If you like the adrenalin rush of roller coaster rides then you get a great deal deal for the entry price. If the exhilaration of twisting and turning at high speeds presses your buttons, then you will love the roller coasters at Busch Gardens. There are so many different roller coasters to keep you entertained that it's difficult to ride them all in single day visit. However, Busch Gardens is not just all about thrill rides. The park has several excellent animal exhibits where you can take a tram, or even your own private safari to see exotic animals such as giraffe, zebra, lions and many other species, all in a natural setting. It's like being transported to Africa!
The park is divided into distinct areas, most with a tropical African flavor where thrill rides are combined with other activities such as water parks, indoor theatres, bird gardens, a Sesame Street play area for toddlers and interactive exhibits. Buying your tickets online prior to arrival is a good idea. There are lots of websites that offer discounted tickets and it is usually possible to buy combo tickets for both Busch Gardens and Sea World. You can obviously buy tickets at the admission gate but booking online eliminates the need to stand in a queue when you arrive. Just make sure you have some cash on hand to pay for parking! You can come to Busch Gardens just for the day or you can create a full week of entertainment for the whole family. Walt Disney World, Sea World, Universal Studios and the other popular Florida theme parks are all just a short drive away in Orlando and Kissimmee. You can base yourself at Busch Gardens and still be able to visit those other parks quite easily. When you visit Tampa, there are so many fun things to do and Busch Gardens is just one of the great vacation attractions to be found in the central west region of Florida. The nearby beaches at Clearwater and St Petersburg are considered to be amongst the finest in Florida, the local waters provide some of Florida's best fishing opportunities and the countryside is dotted with hundreds of international standard golf courses.
