The park consists of 250 acres of barrier island between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway, stretching from Port Everglades on the north to Dania on the south. Free from the usual commercial development associated with popular ocean fronts, this great beach boasts an natural shoreline rimmed by Australian pine trees providing privacy and seclusion. The park is open daily from 8:00 am to dusk.
