The annual Florida Folk Festival at White Springs celebrates Florida and its people and attracts upwards of 30,000 visitors. Featuring about 600 of Florida's folk musicians and artists, the festival includes dance, regional and ethnic foods, local crafts and storytelling.

The Big Shoals State Forest offers bird watching, picnicking, bicycling, hiking, canoeing, kayaking and horseback riding.
