Yet another Orlando holiday favorite, this renowned marine park lives up to its reputation for making education fun.

There is absolutely no location like it in the world with over 200 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds and a 17acre lagoon.

It's an an unforgettable day at Sea World. Visitors can explore the mysteries of the deep, experience the  beauty of the Arctic, come face to face with polar bears, walruses, seals, beluga whales and touch and feed dolphins. Be fascinated by the "Pacific Point Reserve", a sea lion and seal habitat reproduction of their northern Pacific coastline habitat. Experience a close up look at the endangered sea cow at "Manatees: The Last Generation?" and hear about the heroic Sea World Orlando Animal Rescue Team.

Be enthralled (and get wet) by the star of the park "Shamu", a killer whale, and his expanding family at the "Shamu: New Visions" attraction. Experience the amazing texture of a stingray, listen to the song of the seals and have a close encounter at the feeding pools. 

 There are three x 1 hour options on offer in a special tour program: Polar Expedition Tour (touch a penguin), Predators (touch a shark), and To the Rescue (see manatees and sea turtles). In addition, there are tempting add-ons, for people over thirteen. 

Visitors can choose to be a "Trainer for a Day" and work alongside the animal trainers of Sea World, learning their training techniques and how to feed the animals. 

"Animal Care Experience" teaches basic marine animal care and feeding as well as the "False Killer Whale Interaction Program" which will allow you to swim with Shamu. Book well ahead as these experiences are limited to just four people per day.

Adjacent to the parent park is Sea World's independent and newest attraction, Discovery Cove. Limited to just 1000 guests daily, reservations are a must. Your options include, snorkeling in the lagoon with tropical fish and stingrays, hands-on basic training and an opportunity to swim with the dolphins. Complimentary lunch is included at this elite and innovative venue with private beaches and an exotic bird aviary as alternative attractions. 

For those who want to add some zip to their stay, there are Sea World's favorite thrills and chills. Scream on the "Journey to Atlantis", a high-tech super-charged water ride with a 60 foot vertical drop. 

Then climb aboard the stomach churning "Kraken", a 65mph floorless roller coaster ride combining steep climbs with deep drops and seven inversions. The highest, fastest and longest roller coaster in Orlando!

The Orlando Airport site provides an excellent page about shuttle services and city transport.  A trolley service called the I Ride provides a fun way to get around the International Drive Resort Area.  The LYNX bus service covers Orlando and surrounding cities metropolitan areas.
