Enjoy a stroll through the featured "cities" of Hollywood, San Francisco and New York and be truly amazed at the remarkable architecture. The city walk precinct is the centre for daily events, shopping centres, nightlife plus a galaxy of restaurants and dining opportunities.
Universal Studios newest park comprises of five islands, each with a distinct personality, each offering something for everyone. Fly with the prehistoric Pteranodon Flyer over the jungles of Jurassic Park, laugh at slapstick ruckus's at Toon Lagoon and be enthralled with the battles between good and evil on Marvel Super Hero Island. Prepare to be spellbound by the mythical sorcerers on the Lost Continent and enjoy fanciful revelry at Seuss Landing. Experience an amazing array of rides and shows with innovative thrills and unexpected adventures. Attractions not to be missed include the Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man, a combination roller coaster/motion simulator with twists, spins and a simulated 400-foot drop. The Dueling Dragons travels at 55 to 60 mph and executes five inversions. The Incredible Hulk Coaster, a glow-in-the-dark roller coaster, spins upside down and executes seven roll-overs 100 feet from the ground. There are still the attractions for Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls, Back to the Future, Terminator 2, 3-D Battle Across Time, Men in Black Alien Attack and Jimmy Neutron's Nicktoon Blast.
This dazzling 30 acre complex is Orlando’s hottest spot for entertainment. Conveniently located at the entrance to both theme parks, Universal City Walk is home to the best of the best in live music, casual and fine dining, dancing, shopping, movies and more.
At least 35 scheduled airlines and almost as many charter companies fly into Orlando International Airport. Delta runs nearly 25% of the flights from around 160 cities. Other carriers include Air Canada, British Airways, Continental, Northwest, America West, American and US Airways. Amtrak has services to and from Orlando and many of the surrounding towns such as Sebring, Winter Haven, Kissimmee, Sanford and Ocala. A trolley service called the I Ride provides a fun way to get around the International Drive Resort Area. The LYNX bus service is provided by the Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority and covers the Orlando and surrounding cities metropolitan areas.
